1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the services of Anthology Fine Decor (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). These Terms apply to all services including event planning, decoration services, and equipment rentals. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services Provided
Anthology Fine Decor provides the following services:
- Event planning and coordination
- Event decoration and design services
- Rental of event equipment, furniture, and decorative items
- Setup and breakdown services
- Consultation and design services
3. Booking and Reservations
3.1 Booking Process
- All bookings must be confirmed in writing through our booking system or signed contract
- A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation
- Deposit amounts vary by service type and event scale
3.2 Availability
- All services are subject to availability
- We reserve the right to decline any booking request
- Booking confirmations are sent within 48 hours of deposit receipt
3.3 Changes to Bookings
- Changes to confirmed bookings must be requested at least 14 days prior to the event date
- Additional charges may apply for booking modifications
- Significant changes may require a new contract
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Payment Schedule
- Deposit: Required upon booking confirmation
- Remaining Balance: Due 7 days prior to event date
- Late payments may result in service cancellation
4.2 Accepted Payment Methods
- Credit/Debit Cards
- Bank transfers
- Certified checks
- Cash (for deposits under $500 only)
4.3 Additional Charges
- Late payment fees: 1.5% per month on overdue amounts
- Returned check fee: $35
- Additional setup/breakdown time: Charged at hourly rates
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Client Cancellations
- **More than 30 days before event:** 50% refund of total payment
- **15-30 days before event:** 25% refund of total payment
- **Less than 15 days before event:** No refund
- Deposits are non-refundable in all circumstances
5.2 Company Cancellations
- If we must cancel due to circumstances beyond our control, full refund will be provided
- We will assist in finding alternative service providers when possible
- Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services
6. Equipment Rentals
6.1 Rental Period
- Standard rental period is 24 hours unless otherwise specified
- Early pickup or late return may incur additional charges
- Rental period begins at scheduled delivery/pickup time
6.2 Equipment Condition
- All equipment is inspected before delivery
- Client must report any damage or missing items within 24 hours
- Normal wear and tear is expected and acceptable
6.3 Damage and Loss
- Client is responsible for all rented items during rental period
- Replacement cost will be charged for lost or stolen items
- Damage beyond normal wear will be charged at repair or replacement cost
- Security deposits may be required for high-value items
7. Delivery and Setup
7.1 Delivery Terms
- Delivery fees are based on location and distance
- Standard delivery window is 2-4 hours
- Client must provide adequate access to venue
- Additional charges apply for stairs, elevators, or difficult access
7.2 Setup and Breakdown
- Setup begins at agreed-upon time
- Venue must be ready and accessible for setup
- Breakdown occurs within agreed timeframe after event
- Client must ensure venue access for breakdown
8. Client Responsibilities
8.1 Venue Requirements
- Ensure venue permits our services and equipment
- Provide accurate venue information and contact details
- Secure necessary permits and insurance as required
- Ensure adequate electrical supply and access
8.2 Information Accuracy
- Provide accurate event details, guest count, and special requirements
- Notify us of any changes promptly
- Ensure authorized personnel are available during setup/breakdown
8.3 Safety and Compliance
- Comply with all venue rules and regulations
- Ensure safe use of all rented equipment
- Report any safety concerns immediately
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 Service Limitations
- Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for services
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
- Force majeure events (weather, natural disasters, etc.) do not constitute breach of contract
9.2 Third-Party Vendors
- We are not responsible for services provided by third-party vendors
- Client assumes responsibility for coordinating with other event vendors
- Delays caused by third parties are not our responsibility
10. Intellectual Property
10.1 Design Rights
- Original design concepts remain property of Anthology Fine Decor
- Client receives license to use designs for their specific event
- Reproduction or resale of designs is prohibited
10.2 Photography and Marketing
- We reserve the right to photograph events for marketing purposes
- Client may request certain areas not be photographed
- Images may be used in portfolios, websites, and promotional materials
11. Privacy and Data Protection
11.1 Information Collection
- We collect necessary information to provide services
- Personal information is kept confidential and secure
- Information may be shared with trusted vendors as needed for service delivery
11.2 Data Usage
- Client data is used solely for service provision and communication
- We do not sell or rent client information to third parties
- Clients may request removal from marketing communications
12. Dispute Resolution
12.1 Communication
- All disputes should first be addressed through direct communication
- Written complaints must be submitted within 30 days of event date
- We commit to responding to complaints within 5 business days
12.2 Mediation and Arbitration
- Unresolved disputes will be settled through binding arbitration
- Arbitration will be conducted under the rules of [State] arbitration association
- Each party bears their own legal costs unless otherwise determined
13. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure to perform due to unforeseen circumstances or causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
